Argentine Folkloric Dance

 

Became quite relevant in the provinces of San Luis, Santa Fé and Córdoba. 
Mainly in the area of San Luis  (Year 1840)

CLASSIFICATION

Each dancer on its own and separately 

POSITION

Faced each other at both extremes and in the middle sector of the dancing square.

 
 

ELEMENTS

 
  Basic step (starts with the left foot).  Arms and hands in castanet position. 
Winnowing movements (to and from) and "zapateo" dancing.
